I just got System 7 installed on my MAC via FTP from ftp.apple.com and since I do not have manuals, does anyone know how to get/set privliges with System 7???? It does not seem obvious.......Thanks

It does not seem obvious.......Thanks Select the folder in question, and select Sharing under the File menu. If it's an AppleShare folder (on the AppleShare Volume) you can change some sharing info only. If it's a local folder, you can share it with the network. You have to\ to create users and groups in the Users & Groups CDev and turn on File Sharing as well, to make this work. It's very similar to AppleShare setup in that way. Just be careful not to share your whole disk! Go mount what you shared from another mac, and see what it looks like.
