I installed S7 two days ago. I found the following problems. 1. I know that HandsOff II 2.1.3 is incompatible. The CC said so. I left it in anyway, and got a neat bug which the S7 Answerline figured out. When I loaded and ran Word 4.0b, then switched to the Finder, I had NO memory to do anything. I should have had about 2 of my 5 meg left, but the System reported "Not enough mem.." even when I wanted to display the "About the Macintosh..." Connectix says that a new HandsOffII, V2.20 will be available ~June 26th. 2. The TelePort 1.06d11 init is giving me fits, can't use with S7. Global Village says that the release version will be available on June 1. Until then, I'm booting on a S6 floppy to use my modem. 3. I spoke to Central Point techreps and they said that Rescue, Optimizer and ESPECIALLY Mirror won't work with S7. Mirror apparently can cause HARDWARE DAMAGE to the HDA. A new release will be available in 1-2 months and will cost $$ to upgrade, but is supposed to be a new major release version. I guess Norton heat is getting through.
