Has anyone else experienced this? I've been trying to run the
Compatibility Checker stack, and it's been giving me some very
strange behavior.
1. It won't check my startup volume. The cursor spins a bit, then stops.
The progress bar is only filled about 1/8th inch.
2. It almost never lets me get to the Set Up card. The button at the
bottom right says "Start Checking", instead of "Set Up". I can't
choose which disks to check.
3. Sometimes I can see the Set Up option, but it changes to Start Checking
before I get a chance to click on it.
4. Once I was favored with an opportunity to use the Set Up card. I told
it to check only my User volume (no system files) and it ran perfectly.
I'm using Hypercard 1.2.5 and System 6.0.5 on a IIcx. My hard drive is
from LaCie, and is partitioned with SilverLining. I got the System 7
images from the microlib archives.
