As I mentioned before, I posted the 1.0d3 version of Understudy to comp.binaries.mac. It should show up whenever it makes it through the pipeline. I also sent it to Info-Mac, and if anyone else maintains a FTP site, let me know and I can mail it to you. (I don't want to mail it out to everyone individually, however.) To use this at all you need to be running System 7 and you need ResEdit to customize it. Understudy provides 2 useful features: (1) It lets you designate alternate applications (understudies) that the Finder will use to open certain document types, if the original creating application is unavailable. (2) It lets you customize the types of document that you candrop on a given application.
