Now that I have S7 installed, I notice thatsome of my icons are colorized
and some are not :(
Specifically, I'd like to answer two questions:
1. If a file contains the proper icl8's, what is necessary to get S7 to
display them? I've played with BNDLs, FREFs, etc, to no avail. Ideally
all the apps and files with icl8s and ics8s would just display them.
2. I've tried pasting an icon into the Get Info box, and the icon is a full
256 color kind of icon. The icon ends up losing some of the colors. What
causes this? (In particular, I'm using an Immedium SoundEdit icon in
SoundEdit.)
Incidently, Tom Poston of Immedium Design makes icon sets that are artistically
clean and functional. I believe he was responsible for SunDesk. According to a
post on America Online, he will be releasing a utility called !Contraption (?)
which will automate and handle the icons for S7/apps/documents, in June.
