Whenever I use the echo command it prints all its arguments. I already know what the arguments are since I just typed them there. I think there should be a "-q" option to tell echo to be quiet. The offending line looks something like "putchar(*cp);" where cp is looping through the arguments. Is this a bug or a feature? Scott Orshan houxm!u1100a!sdo 4/1/83
