Everyone should be able to claim their own bug in system 7.0! The 7.0 installer went on a seek & destroy operation and zapped my system 6.0 file before I discovered its mischief. I thought it would be clever to make a new "System" folder, copy a new bootable 6.0.3 system file and finder to this folder, and rename my old system file and stick it in a sub-folder, in case I ever wanted to downgrade my old system file. The installer hunted down my old system file and killed it off. Somehow it failed to fall for my trickery. So I am 7.0 convert whether I like it or not. One thing I notice is that the "About the finder" memory window is very useful in 7.0. But 7.0 frequently plots this window incorrectly. When applications start and stop 7.0 tries to keep this window up to date. The result is that 2 applications are sometimes written onto the same line in the window, producing an illegible mess. You can chalk this up to a system 7.0 "screen refresh" bug. I claim this as my own personal bug in system 7.0.
