I've seen the question asked, but I've not seen an answer: How do you zap PRAM in 7.0? Thanks. --Frank Malczewski (fdm@wlv.imsd.contel.com)

The magic key sequence defined for the IIci and later (Command-Option-P-R, I believe) now zaps PRAM for all machines. The real question, is why do you feel you need to zap your PRAM? It's _very_ rare for it to be the cause of a real problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Alexander M. Of course, it is surprisingly common for very rare occurances to be giving people problems. Sometimes when it is hard to track down a malfunction you just use the shotgun approach and try everything. Zap the PRAM is part of the Rebuild desktop etc. mantra, don't ya know?

Zap the PRAM is part of the Yeah....I know the shotgun approach....wave a shotgun menacingly (sp?) in front of the offending machine...if that doesn't work fire a warning shot...that will fix it...]:) > Rebuild desktop etc. mantra, don't ya know? The Reason we needed to do it was because the system font had been changed to some horrid thing...I don't even know what it was...and it made cdevs most almost unreadable...
