[comp.sys.mac.system] System 7 True Type Font Cache

Does anyone know how big the TT font cache is in System 7? 
Can it be changed?

I ask these questions because TT seems to be doing a lot of recalculating
of fonts - and I'm not using very many and few different sizes.
