[comp.sys.mac.system] color icons and sys 7.0

With sys 7 color icons are nicely displayed on the desktop merely
by installing icl8's in the file.

But these icl8's are not always displayed during startup, sometimes the
black and white icon is displayed at the bottom of the screen.  How does
one get the color icl8 to be displayed during startup?

Also how does one color the icons for various drives with sys 7.0?  Icon
Colorizer used to do this with 6.0.5.  Icon Colorizer also colored icons
during startup.
