I have seen numerous postings regarding the 'new' color and grayscale icons that exist in the finder but don't appear. For instance, the new icons for floppy diskettes are not used. I get the 1 bit version, not the 8 bit. I have a Mac IIcx 8/40 and have installed 7.0 a few different ways with no luck. Would someone who KNOWS THE ANSWER to this please respond to this newsgroup?? Someone at Apple MUST know what's going on. THANKS!!! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ian C. Someone at Apple MUST know what's going on. Ditto! I have color icons under 6.0.7 (using IconColorizer), but under 7.0 I'm back to b&w disk icons. BTW: Thanks to Apple for all the neat features in System 7.0, and thanks to Mark Johnson for putting System 7.0 on ftp.apple.com. A gazillion steps forward, one step back, =Mike -- == Michael K.
