Wouldn't you know it? I just got done telling someone about how I've been running Sys 7 for over a week with no failures and the PrintMonitor starts acting up. I've been trying to print things from Word, MacTerminal, and even the Finder all day and keep getting a Type 28 error. I got a message that mentioned an Unimplemented Trap once. I have tried reloading the PrintMonitor, LaserWriter driver, and LaserPrep. I turned off the Laserwriter and back on (BTW it's a laserwriter, not a Laserwriter II, or Laserwriter N** or anything else that came from this decade). Whatever the problem is, it sometimes caused my Mac IIcx to freeze necessitating that I push the restart button. Once it even clobbered the Lan session I was running. Basically, until someone can tell me how to proceed, I'll just have to print everything at home. FYI: I am using a Mac IIcx with 4 MB RAM, an 80 MB interanl HD and a 20 MB external Hyperdrive FX 20. At the risk of being perceived as casting dispersions, I will say that the first time the problem arose was after I downloaded the demo version of FastEnvelope and tried to create and print an envelope. I am NOT saying that is any kind of culprit, simply offering the information. (Maybe there is some incompatibility or something that I did/didn't do that is causing the problem) Once someone can get me printing again, I will continue to be high on Sys 7. HHHHEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!
