Hmmm...
I downloaded Applicon fresh off of comp.binaries.mac, and it unpacked just
fine. My problem, though, is that every time I try to run it, I get an error
of type -199. Any ideas?
On a somewhat related note, does anyone who's been able to obtain manuals
(Buffalo is sold out until about the year 3826, at which time MOS will probably
be at System 293 8-) ), anyway...Can anyone tell me if the manuals contain a
list of what all the little Apple errors actually mean? From the small code
size point of view, I think displaying the error #'s are great, but I haven't
been able to figure out what -199, -192, -39, etc. could mean, and they're not
in my Webster's 8-).
Thanks much.

Well, I don't have the manuals, but from the 'System Errors' DA: -39 eofErr End of file -192 resNotFound Resource not found -199 mapReadErr map inconsistent with operation I don't know if the 'System Errors' DA is on any of the net archives, but I imagine that it is. I use it all the time to find out what some of the cryptic error numbers mean. -- Stephen H.
