[comp.sys.mac.system] Trashed Small Icons in Sys 7

I have been following the discussion about trashed color icons in system
7 and I have a little different problem (so does a colleague):

	When I display a list view or small icon view that uses the
icl4# size icon (i.e. the medium size icon from the views cdev) *some*
of my files' icons get garbaged, while others are fine. I used resedit
to analyze samples of good and bad ones and could not find *any* clue
other than certain icons are consistently trashed. 

	Has anyone on the net seen this and figured out a solution.
	Anyone at Apple know what's going on.

	This happen both an a Cx and Ci running the version on the
	latest system 7 developer's CD.
