The wonderful world of aliases can create an acute real estate shortage on the desktop for those of us with 9" screens. System 7 does us the favour of remembering that we have pushed our trash cans down into the very bottom left corner. We can also push our hard drive icons up and to the right, but the system can't remember those positions for the next startup. Can anyone suggest how we might persuade the Finder to remember those new locations? -- Stan Armstrong. That should read "pushed our trash cans down into the very bottom *right* corner. Not that it matters. :-) -- Stan Armstrong. Religious Studies Dept, Saint Mary's University, Halifax, N.S. att!clyde!watmath!water!dalcs!armstrng | armstrong@husky1.stmarys.ca
