I just got the extension called "~FinderToFront" and put it in my startup items folder. It appears last when the folder is viewed by name but on startup it runs first! According to the readme that accompanied this extension all you have to do is name it so that it runs last -- well I've tried nameing it so it appeared first, last and in the middle all to no avail. Everything else in my startup folder is an alias so I tried making an alias of it and putting that in. That changed the startup order, but it still didn't start up last. What the heck is going on!!! I've got a Mac IIci running the real system 7.0. Steve
