[comp.sys.mac.system] Suitcase II 1.2.10 and Smart Alarms

A warning for all. I kept wondering why the patches to Suitcase II weren't
enabling me to use it under System 7. Everytime I'd try, I'd get the same
error; something like "bad F-line instruction" and the Mac would halt. I
finally found that the problem was Smart Alarms. I'm starting to get
annoyed since I've had to replace SA once at System 6 due to incompatibilities
and now it appears I have to repeat. In particular Jam wasn't offering
much of an upgrade policy, I effectively had to buy a new copy.

Exactly the same thing happens when _MultiSpooler (a print spooler for the
ImageWriter) is active and then an attempt is made to print from any
applications. Does anyone know what that error message actually means? Also,
is there an upgrade to _MultiSpooler which would work with System 7.0?
