I haven't researched this very well yet, meaning that I've not RTFM very much. However, the System 7 compatibility pamphlet says MacroMaker is "unneccesary" with Sys 7. What takes its place? I used to use MM all the time; now what do I do? Buy QuickKeys? :v) I've perused the TOC and index of the Sys 7 reference, and I don't see a replacement. Excuse me if I've been Rock Solid in the head. :v) --Jon -- jonh@pogo.wv.tek.com | moc.ket.vw.ogop.hnoj Jon 6417 Sorrel Way | yaW lerroS 7146 noJ Howell West Linn, OR 97068 | 86079 RO, nniL tseW llewoH 503/657-7964 | 4697-756\305

They refer people to third party products, such as QuickKeys 2, which is System 7 savvey and AppleEvents smart. Wish MacroMaker was still here - it might have been primitive, but it was free, and worked (usually) well. Jason
