Disk First Aid doesn't have any real online help, and the documentation in the Macintosh Utilities User's Guide is less than helpful. Any help will be appreciated. Dave Flowers

Any help will be appreciated. First of all, the Disk First Aid that comes with 7.0 is much improved over previous versions. Even if you aren't using 7.0, use DFA 7.0. DFA allows you to check if the data structures on an HFS volume are ok. It also has limited repair capabilities. ______________________________________________________________________ Stephan Somogyi net.nerd MacUser
