I would like to see the Finder be more flexible when copying groups of files. When you copy a group of files and some have the same name, you get the "some items have the same names, do you want to replace them" dialog. If you cancel, though, none of the files that do not conflict are copied. It would be nice if (1) a "cancel" would still allow the rest of the files to be copied instead of aborting the whole operation, or (2) you could specify a new name for any file that conflicts with an existing one. In other words, treat a copy on a file-by-file basis rather than an all-or-none situation. ________________________________________________________________________ | John jfw@neuro.duke.edu Duke University Medical Center | | Whitehead jfw@well.sf.ca.us Department of Neurobiology | |____________ white002@dukemc (bitnet) __ Durham, North Carolina ________|
