Is it possible, using Apple's HD Setup program, to create multiple
_Macintosh_ partitions on a disk? If not, WHY not?
Okay, next question - is there every going to be some way to have submenus
in the Apple Menu? Things could get ridiculous here after a while - as it
is, scrolling is incredibly slow, especially near the bottom of the list.
Isn't there a cdev out there that performs the same functions as
Commander Dialog?
Thanks for any information!
Lars

[ other miscellany deleted ] HD Setup won't let you have more than one Mac (HFS) partition on a given hard disk. Why? That's easy -- it's the old "third party opportunity" syndrome that makes Apple do dumb things so others can make some money too. (Where's Apple e-mail? Video cards for the SE/30? There are always more...) I've been looking at the specs for how things are layed out on SCSI drives and I wonder if it isn't possible to make things work. The worst part is I suppose I have to write my own SCSI driver, which isn't exactly straightforward. Long live third parties!
