I'm finally going to get around to buying a hard drive for my Mac Plus and since my cash is limited right now, I was figuring on going with the best "bang for the buck" alternative, which seems to be the Wholesale 54 Quantum Pro 105s, which can be had for $389 in external configuration. My question to the net is what experience others have had with this company in terms of service, friendliness, quality, etc. I know this firm was discussed a few months ago but not many people had too much experience with them then. I'm hoping that because of their low prices a few people have taken the plunge and bought from them and I can benefit from their experience. Specifically I'd like to know what purchasers thought of the quality of the external case/power supply/SCSI connection supplied by WH 54, and the quality of the formatting software included (as far as ease of use, does it do hard partitioning, etc.) And finally how people would rate their overall satisfaction with the company. Would they buy again from them or spend the extra dollars to go to a firm like Allied Peripheral Systems, which seems to be one of the net's favorites for cheap Mac hard drives. Oh, and if anyone was dissatisfied and tried to return their product, was WH 54 nice about it or did they make returning merchandise a pain? Thanks for any and all help I can get!
