Having a fair amount of stress in my life, I'd like to try out some little experiments with the Finite Element Method. There are some (undoubtedly) great packages for sale, but Midas I'm not, so... are there any Public Domain FEM packages out there in the world? How about packages developed at some university with public $ that someone would like to give me, no strings attached.
