A student drew 750 diagrams in MS Paint (under MS windows) and gave them to our secretary; she needs them in a Macintosh format. Can any existing bitmap conversion program(s) read "MS Windows Paint" format? Thank y'all kindly. -Mitch (wyle@inf.ethz.ch)

Try importing the diagrams into Pagemaker for the PC, then transfer the pagemaker file to the Mac. I wonder if that will work. You might also look into Maclink Plus because it has numerous file translation routines. But I think it's rather skimpy on bitmap transfers. Wait. OK, got it! In the PC, you should transfer those paint pix to TIFF files. (Try opening them with a scanning program, then save as TIFF.) The TIFF files should open into a program that can read tiff on the mac. -- Robert Holland - via FidoNet node 1:125/777 UUCP: ...!sun!hoptoad!fidogate!161!555!Robert.Holland INTERNET: Robert.Holland@f555.n161.z1.FIDONET.ORG
