A friend of mine just joint the Mac community and asked me about the availability of word processors for chinese. Can someone please email me some info on what does exist, where to get it and what it will cost. Thank you Erwin

You do not need any chinese word processor to type mandarin characters into the Mac. Get the chinese system software from APDA (I mean buy). Boot the mac with the chinese system, normal word processor like MacWrite will be able to accept chinese input method (eg. using Han Yu Pin Yin) I forgot how much the chinese system cost but I'm very sure it is below $100.
