[comp.sys.mac.misc] SE/30 Shutdown Problem

JAH4@psuvm.psu.edu (JEFFREY A. HAMMAN) (06/06/90)

Dear Netters;
     I know of two machines that have a problem on shutdown whereas
they completly freeze up without giving the "You may switch off your
Macintosh safely". Both machines have hard disks so I do not know if the
disk got safely parked or not, so I cringe when I turn them off. This
happens consistently and in fact, I am not able to get a regular Shut-
down.

   Very generic setup on both: System/Finder 6.05
                                   UniFinder
                                   No INITs
                                   2 MBytes on one/ 4 MBytes on other
