Hi there! I've got a slight problem with an SE/30. I've been trying to run DiskExpress II on it to defragment the hard disk but no luck. DE first verifies the disk and reports no errors. Then it tries to optimize the disk and comes up with an error stating "Disk Express found errors in the directory of this volume (2003)." I have also tried running Disk First Aid. It states that it can't verify the status of the disk. What's going on here? I successfully ran DE a few days ago so I know it's not an init/virus problem. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! Please email and I'll post if it's not something stupid. Configuration is as follows. SE/30, 1/40 System/Finder: 6.0.4/6.1.4 Inits: Sam Intercept 2.0, AfterDark, Hierarchy, On Cue, Shortcut, SoundMaster, Suitcase II, SuperClock, and Temperament2.
