I am a user and developer of geological/geophysical software, and a reader of GEOBYTE (a mag from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists). I'm looking for folks out there in netland that have a similar interrest. Particularly, I'm wondering about any news groups, FTP sites, or sources for software in this genre(sp?). What about it netters? Anyone out there from arco.com, texaco.com, etc?. Anyone from Stanford working on sedimentation models? Anyone from KSU doing geologic modeling? Anyone doing GEO things?
