[comp.sys.mac.misc] There *ARE* uses for forcing the mouse to a location

Hey, about not moving modal dialogues.... That is probably the biggest
headache I have with applications on the Mac. The interface and guidelines
are mostly reasonable, but have you ever used a terminal window or been
working on something and pulled down a menu which causes a modal dialogue
to appear and wouldn't you guess it's in the middle of the screen... right
on top of the information you need to fill in the modal dialogue.

I see this with too many applications. Sure, I can use Resedit and move the
window, "sometimes" ... it doesn't work for those apps that calculate the
screen size...

Anyway, If while in the dialogue, I can move the window to the side (my
choosing) and optionally force it to appear there for the remainder of that
invocation of the app, [whenever it's called, that is], I'd be estatic!!!
