This question is from Prof Ken Grau at SUNY Albany: I'm producing a complete PostScript file using Command-K on a Mac SE, which includes the Laser Prep information, and loading that PS graphic into the VAX program Scribe. The problem is, there is some information in the Laser Prep output that apparently has too long a record length for Scribe to handle when creating its output file: it gives an I/O error and stops at that point. Basically the query is this: does anyone know of a way to edit the Laser Prep file so it will produce PS output that Scribe can handle? Or, has anyone another way to import Mac graphics into Scribe? If you have any helpful hints, please e-mail a reply to KG967@ALBNYVMS.BITNET, or if you can't reach BITnet, reply to me at this account and I'll forward the info to him. thanks, Derek L. -- + + One Mac is worth exactly 2.317 PCs (based on current price indices) + + Disclaimer: I was asleep. ---}=-------------------------` ++ All the busy little creatures / Chasing out their destinies --Peart ++
