Time for another bug fix release to Finder Sounds. This time, it's version 1.2.2. This latest in what I hope will be a short line of bug fixes removes an incompatibility between Finder Sounds and Edit 2.1, as well as some Modula-II development systems. The incompatibility in versions 1.2 and 1.2.1 of Finder Sounds manifested itself as a Bus Error when exiting programs created with some Modula-II systems as well as when just trying to use Edit 2.1. This little bug could also be the cause of other mysterious crashes that I haven't heard about, yet. You may pick up my latest effort via anonymous FTP to coral.bucknell.edu [134.82.1.1]. Once you're there, just issue a cd mac command and pick up the file of your choice. The file FINDERSOUNDS122_SIT.BIN contains the complete package. If you prefer, there is an .HQX version of that file as well. If you happen to already have version 1.2 or 1.2.1, just pick up the file FINDERSOUNDS122UPDATE_SIT.BIN which only contains the updated Finder Sounds module and the latest copy of the TeachText document. There is an .HQX version of this file, as well. There are no changes to Finder Sounds Config for version 1.2.2. Also, the 1.2.2 update supercedes the version 1.2.1 update.
