Someone's brought a failed Jasmine HD in for us to look at, hoping that we can get it working. We pop it open and inside is a MiniScribe 8425S. (Ain't this about the best combo you can imagine??? :) ). Nothing obviously wrong with the drive. Seems to be spinning up. But... The red light on the front of the drive is flashing in a code-like pattern: Long - Flash - Flash - Flash Where each "Flash" above is actually four very short flashes. Anybody know the code? Also, because it looks like we won't be able to do anything for this fellow, what's the best place to have the guy send the drive?
