Has anyone heard anything about a new utility package from Casady and Greene called QuickTools? It seems to duplicate a number of shareware packages and includes a screensaver of the same genre as After Dark and Pyro!, but with more modules. I was surprised because it isn't often I see a program before I hear about it. I didn't get a chance to play with it much because it was on someone's portable and they weren't there at the time. ANy other information ? Thanks PS: Everything seemed to be implemented in cdevs. -ace -- Adam C. Engst pv9y@vax5.cit.cornell.edu Yes, I didn't know it had finally shipped, but these are the commercial versions that grew out of Andrew Welch's Black Box init that was around several months back. Basically, when I last saw it (a beta a few months back), the package included a NeXT-like icon dock (the main feature of black box), a screen saver, a feature to let you use command key combinations to do things in dialogue boxes (ala Commander Dialogue), and one or two others I can't think of right now. All together a nice set of useful features. What is C&G charging for it? BTW: I have no commercial interest in this product but did Beta it. I also communicated Black Box bug reports from Usenet to Andrew in the early days of that version.
