[comp.sys.mac.misc] IIcx won't power up; is this a known problem?

Last night, I tried to turn on my 8-month-old IIcx and nothing
happened.  I checked the outlet for power and the cord.  I tried using
the power switch on the back of the box (instead of the keyboard's).
Nothing happened.

I think I recall a previous discussion of this problem on the net.  If
my memory is correct, would somebody please send me a synopsis of the
problem and suggested solutions?
