Informix just sent me info about upgrading to it. =============================================================================== Kok-Yong Tan can be contacted via: | "Oscularis fundamentum!" CL/1 has been shipping since January 1990. It went through a long "beta" and early seeding process to developers and MIS shops. It is currently available from Apple through APDA. APDA's number is 1-800-282-2732. The current shipping version is CL/1 1.1 . CL/1 is under going a name change to Data Access Language (DAL) and a new release DAL 1.2 will be available in early September. DAL allows Mac applications to access SQL databases on remote mini and mainframe computers. To the Vax, it supports async and AppleTalk (localtalk and ethernet) connections and Ingres, Oracle, Rdb, Informix, and Sybase databases. In the mainframe world, it supports DB2 and SQL/DS via 3270 connections. - James Glanville Internet: jhg@apple.com DAL Guru and Project Leader Disclaimer: Apple and I both say things.
