[comp.sys.mac.misc] Outbound

fleming@cup.portal.com (Stephen R Fleming) (08/03/90)

Does anyone have any experience with the Outbound (formerly Wallaby)
portable? I figure that I can configure a system with a 12 meg silicon
disk plus floppy, external modem, etc., AND spend $900 for a Mac Plus
to use for the brain transplant and STILL be within $100 of a
comparable Mac Portable. Not to mention about two-thirds the weight
and bulk.

Has anyone used the Isopoint for longer than an in-store
demonstration? Any word on real-world battery life? Or any other
info? Insight would be greatly appreciated.
