[comp.sys.mac.misc] Baseball scoring software?

spud@Apple.COM (Dave "Spud" Kalin) (08/02/90)

Does anybody out there in net-land know of any (Mac-based) software designed
to score a baseball game and generate a box score? I've got a team to keep
track of.... :)

Thanks in advance!

I know that some software DOES exist, but I'm not sure how or where to get it.
I remember watching baseball on TV (ESPN I think) where they showed a guy
keeping the game stats as the game was being played. He was able to quickly
chart the ptich, type & location, each hit location, and outcome. It was
definitely a Mac program. I'd like to get my hands on it as well. I think
it was during the college world series, but I'm not positive.

If you just want to track stats after the fact, I have a pretty elaborate
Reflex Plus database that keeps track of each trip to the plate for the
batters, and is fully reational with players, games, at-bats, ...

BTW, if you find the program I saw, let me know. It probably costs an arm
and a leg...
