Hi out there, I'd like to know how I could get some of the postings on mac.binaries on to the department MAC. The details of equipment available 1. I have a UNIX account thru which I can access the mac.binaries news group. 2. The UNIX machine is accessed thru a IBM PC using kermit. This PC has a 360k 5 1/4" floppy drive to which I can download a file 3. The MAC has a 5 1/4" drive which can be read thru Apple File Translator 4. The MAC has also on it BinHex 4.0 Now how do I get about getting the Programs on to the MAC. a. Do you start at the first letter after the line which says cut here. b. What mode has the file to be down loaded using kermit c. What translator is to be used to get the file from the floppy to MAC. d. What next ?
