Hi all. Well thanks for your repsonses concerning my question abou the Zapf fonts. I've found Zapf-Chancery, the font I'm looking for but there's a problem. It's a POSTSCRIPT font! Arrrrggg. So tell me, is there a postscript -> bitmap converter that will take this Adobe font and convert into a Mac-compatible font? I'm not sure we're speaking the sam mac-eeze language but ALL of the adobe post script fonts come with 3 componant parts.. the post script printer file (thats what they charge the big bucks for), an AFM file (used by some Desk top publishing packages), and a set of screen or bitmap fonts that can be used independently of the postscript or printer fonts. Infact you can download the bitmaped screen fonts from the adobe sig on compuserve and I think they are availible from the listserver at rice as well. The bitmaps arn't as sharp & smooth as the printer fonts.. but do ok on an imagewrier at the sizes included in the suitcase.
