[comp.sys.mac.misc] What happened to Sumacc?

kmagel@plains.NoDak.edu (ken magel) (08/10/90)

What has happened to the software repository at Sumac for the last two
weeks? There has been no new software placed there except for gatekeeper
aid 1.02. Have the archivists taken a well deserved vacation? If so, when will
they be back and how soon will the now six week backlog of postings be
reduced to say two weeks? Couldn't they post a message to this newsgroup when
there is going to be a several day hiatus/ Thank you.

I presume by this you mean sumex, the archive computer at Stanford
University. sumex should not be confused with SUMacC, which was a
public-domain cross-developing C environment for the Macintosh back when
the only supported way of doing program was cross-compiling in Pascal on
a Lisa. To answer your question: I don't know.
