What has happened to the software repository at Sumac for the last two weeks? There has been no new software placed there except for gatekeeper aid 1.02. Have the archivists taken a well deserved vacation? If so, when will they be back and how soon will the now six week backlog of postings be reduced to say two weeks? Couldn't they post a message to this newsgroup when there is going to be a several day hiatus/ Thank you.

I presume by this you mean sumex, the archive computer at Stanford University. sumex should not be confused with SUMacC, which was a public-domain cross-developing C environment for the Macintosh back when the only supported way of doing program was cross-compiling in Pascal on a Lisa. To answer your question: I don't know. --Mark
