Hi there!
Several days ago I answered someone question regard Giffer and in mentioned
to the version 1.08 that I have. Seems like a lot of people do not have this
version yet because I got a tons of fan mail request a copy of it. The version
is date 5/90 so it's not support the new GIF89a spec. yet.
Well, here it is. I put it on my site for ANONYMOUS FTP. Site is
VAXB.ACS.UNT.EDU (IP 129.120.1.4). There are 4 flavors:
GIFFER_108.SIT - SITed of the package
GIFFER_108_SIT.HQX - BINHEXed of the SITed
GIFFER_108.CPT - COMPACTORed of the package
GIFFER_108_CPT.HQX - BINHEXed of the COMPACTORed
get whatever flavor you like. All of them work. I DO DOWNLOAD THEM BACK AND
TEST (It's a pain, but I don't wants any complaint mail >:^()
They are under MICRO/MAC/GRAPHICS directory.
You might have to set the file type and creator of .SIT and .CPT as follow:
type creator
.SIT SIT! SIT!
.CPT PACT CPCT
The BinHex is of type TEXT and any creator is ok.
And since you are there donwload DEVSTK12.HQX which is the Developer Stack
version 1.2r (the fixed version that Sumex-aim has only the fixed file). I
think I saw somebody mentioned 1.3. Anybody has a higher than 1.2 that willing
to send it to me?
Anyway, don't forget to send in Beerware fee to the author!
