[comp.sys.mac.misc] Printing Mac Postscript dumps on DataProducts LZR1260

tonyg@batserver.cs.uq.oz.au (Tony Gedge) (08/14/90)

I am trying to print Macintosh postscript dumps on a DataProducts LZR1260
laser printer connected to a Unix box. This is what I am doing:

1) Produce postscript dump on Mac using LaserWriter driver.
2) Uploading as a text file to a Unix host.
3) Using macps (from sumex-aim) to mangle the postscript file
4) Queuing the result on the DataProducts LZR1260.

This works, but the output produced looks like it has been stretched
vertically.

Some questions:
1) Has anyone else done this and got it to work???
2) Should I use a DataProducts printer driver on the Mac?

Can anyone tell me how to make this work??!!

Thanks in advance... e-mail or post responses...

Tony Gedge.
