During a recent visit to a wealthy International research institute I was using a Mac II and Freedom of the Press to produce Colour transparencies from the postscipt files I dumped out of various applications to a HP PaintJet. All went well with some pretty results until I tried to produce a scientific graph in colour. Both Kaleidagraph and Cricket Graph gave me a pretty graph on the screen but the interpreted output from the postscript file was in black and white. I had a look inside the postscript file and couldn't find anything relating to colour. Did I do some thing silly? I imagine if I used the HP driver I could dump colour Quickdraw images on the PainJet but at reduced resolution. If anyone out there has any suggestions on what I did wrong or knows of a good scientific graphics manipulation package which can produce colour postscript I'd like to know.
