Hi: I have an off-the-wall question I am hoping someone can help me with. Some friends are moving to the Phillipines at the end of next month, and are hoping to bring an old Mac (I think it's a plus w/ an external hard drive). Anyway, does anyone know what the power situation is in the phillipines? We believe it is 220V, but is it 50 or 60Hz? Also, if the power is 50hz, is there some type of converter or maybe even a switch on the Mac someplace to change the input power to 60hz? Thanks in advance. Please no flames.
