"My lab is about to buy a new Mac. We would like to get a NON-mac 19" "color monitor for it. The machine will be a Mac IIci. Any and all suggestions "would be greatly appreciated. Specifically we would like thoughts on quality "and price. Thanks in advance. " " Nick Witchey " witchey@ohstpy.mps.ohio-state.edu This reminds me of a cute picture of a toddler in a mud puddle with a cat watching him. The caption is "Oh boy, are you in trouble!" I suppose you meant NON-Apple as opposed to NON-Mac. Otherwise why would you want a monitor for a Mac that doesn't work on it? Anyway, don't worry. There are no 19" Apple color monitors to buy. We have a SuperMac Standard (19") at FileNet. It's so blurry that I can't stand to read small text on it. However the people who use it don't complain at all. (Course they're about 20 years younger than me). If I were to switch to color, it would have to be a Trinitron. They are definitely easier to look at if you intend to use any type size below 12 point. Shirley Kehr
