Hi,
I just caught on to these newsgroups and have no idea whether this
has been discussed before.
I'm preparing a paper (LaTeXed) with quite a number of PostScript
pictures. I've drawn these pictures using Aldus Freehand on the Mac.
and my paper is written on a Unix workstation.
I now want to put these pictures into my paper. My scheme is as
follows:
latex dvi2ps lpr
tex ------> dvi ----------> ps ------> LaserWriter-NTX

|
Aldus Freehand ---> ps-file
print+(K) option
But I could not print out the ps-file created from Freehand with
the 'lpr' command.
I have tried three versions of ps file.
(1) eps file - created from aldus print menu
(2) ps file - created from print+(F)
(3) ps file - created from print+(K)
My knowledge about PostScript files is really limited and would
like to ask the following questions:
(1) Is it possible to print out Aldus-freehand made picture
combined with latex file from UNIX WS using lpr.
If yes, how?
(2) Is there any way to combine Mac made draw picture with
latex file and print out from LaserWriter-NTX?
Any help is appreciated. Sorry if this is the 100th time that u
have came across this question.
Please send ur reply thru' email. Thank you very much.
