[comp.sys.mac.misc] Memory Testing

jmh@petunia.network.com (Joel Halpern) (08/29/90)

Due to various failure modes, I am suspicious that my MAC II
(with 4 megabytes of memory) may have a memory problem somewhere.

Does anyone have any software that I could use to check this out?
Most of the time the machine runs, but it has random odd crashes.
(No there are no viruses. I am running vaccine and the
init from disinfectant 2.1. In addition I have done several scans
with disinfectant.)

Thanks,

MacUser October 1990 p. 249 mentions a utility called ProVue RAM Check
2.0 which is s'posed to be available from various shareware archives.
