MacIIci with Apple RGB monitor. Color works fine except the user- selectable color boxes in the Desktop Pattern area of the General CDEV are missing, and only B&W Desktop Patterns are available. I had several inits/CDEV's such as Big Pat and Pic-a-pat, Sun Desk, Color Desk, etc., all of which I have removed from the System folder, and re-booted, but with no success. I even reinstalled the System, with no sucess. The (6.0.5) System disk from which I installed from works properly with respect to color options in the Desktop Pattern box of the General CDEV. Perhaps Sun Desk or Color Desk have changed something in the General CDEV which remains changed, even after re-installing? Any ideas? - Bob Majors majors@u.washington.edu
