We had some name server problems yesterday and I tried to set up a host table file for MacTCP. But it didn't seem to look anything up in the table. The Cdev was locked from changes and was using a server (kbox) to get the Mac's ip address. I tried lotsa of voodoo maneuvers like case sensitivity and placing and not placing periods after the full name but I didn't seem to work with anything.
