Now that I'm no longer comp.sys.mac.announce moderator, I'm taking a long awaited step -- unsubscribing to comp.sys.mac.*. It's been fun (and sometimes it's not been fun) but it's time for me to move along and do other things. I'm planning to limit my reading to comp.sys.mac.announce in the future. I mention this for a couple of reasons. First, I've had a long tradition of answering numerous questions here on the net, either publicly or in mail. Since I won't be answering things any more, other folks who usually deferred answering should plan on doing it in the future. Second, if I didn't say goodbye, Tim Maroney wouldn't be able to publicly tell me to not slam the door on my way out. Since I'd hate to ruin his day, I'm hereby giving him a free shot. Have fun, Tim. If you want me, you can send e-mail or catch me on GEnie, where I'm planning on spending my mac.time from now on. The time I used to spend here is going to be spent on more productive (for me) endeavours. If anyone cares why I'm doing this, check out the editorial of OtherRealms, in rec.mag.otherrealms as we speak.
